ADDRESS LIGHTS FAILED PROJECT

MORE BOARD BS

From the June/July 2025 News Letter

LISTS TO ILLUMINATE UNIT NUMBERS: Daniella reported that there are four units remaining. Two will be completed next week.

“Estates l did their address lights before Estates ll and it took management around one month to complete the entire job. Why doesn't Estates ll  ask Estates l how they accomplished the job so efficiently.”

Based on the BS the board feeds the community the Residents Club took it upon itself to confirm if there are indeed only four homes without illuminated address numbers. It took the residents club less than 2 minutes to drive through the community to estimate 30 homes remain in the dark, without illuminated addresses. As of July 4, these are some of the homes -that after 3 years- still do not have their homes addresses lit up. If you drive around at night you will see around ten homes have broken address lights.

Uncooperative Board Member's Non-Compliance with Address Lighting Project Undermines Community Standards

As a direct result of the Residents Club exposing the board’s blatant lie printed in the News Letter—that only four lights remain unlit—there has been some progress since the article was published. However, a substantial number of homes are still left in darkness. Among them is a home owned by a board member.

This raises serious questions about the integrity and accountability of the board. What does it say about their leadership that they cannot or will not ensure that even one of their own, a homeowner with whom they meet monthly—presumably to oversee the completion of this three-year project—complies with the collective decision to illuminate all addresses? Such neglect undermines trust and demonstrates a troubling disregard for the community.

The persistent failure to complete the project after three years to illuminate all addresses is not only unacceptable but also critically damages the credibility of the board. It highlights a profound lack of accountability and a failure to uphold their responsibilities. Instead of enforcing better performance from management, the board continues to deceive residents about the management of the condo, once again siding with management against the interests of the residents. This highlights a pattern of neglect and dishonesty that must be addressed with urgency and decisive action. The fact that a board member's home remains in the dark underscores a troubling double standard and suggests a lack of integrity and that the board's priorities are misaligned with the community. It is imperative that the board takes immediate, decisive action to rectify this situation and demonstrate that no one is above the rules, regardless of their position on the board
